Dr. Sreenivasarao
(Rao) Vepachedu has 20 years of experience in research and teaching
in chemistry and 6 years of patent prosecution in the fields of biology,
biotechnology, combinatorial chemistry, medicinal chemistry, organic
chemistry, pharmaceuticals and polymers. He has been attorney in
good standing in
Andhra Pradesh,
India since 1988, and is currently a
patent attorney
at
Cardinal Law Group and
an Adjunct Porfessor of chemistry at
Illinois
Institute of Technology.
Dr. Vepachedu holds a PhD in organic chemistry from
Kakatiya University and
Indian Institute of Chemical Technology

Best Sr. Research Fellow Award,
1991), MS in organic
chemistry (
Gold Medal and Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Award,
1985) from
Kakatiya University,
BS (with distiction) in botany, zoology and chemistry (1983) from
Osmania University, JD in Law (1988) from
Osmania University and LLM
(Master of Laws, 1997) with intellectual property electives from
Howard University. Sreenivasarao
is registered to practice law before
the United States Patent and Trademark Office,
and admitted to practice law before the US District Court of Northern
District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of Michigan. He is also an attorney
in good standing in India since 1988. He is a member of American
Intellectual Property Law Association, American Chemical Society and
International Bar Association.
